The Elite Nutrients Crop Feeding Program Company

The Elite Nutrients Company saw a need that wasn’t being met by existing hydroponic nutrient manufacturers. That need was for a high yield crop feeding program that worked in commercial scale growing from both an economy and ease of use point of view—and very importantly, a program that could deliver professional results with absolutely no harmful PGRs (plant growth regulators) in any of the formulations, no exceptions.

Elite Nutrients is owned, operated and driven by industry veterans—with one of it’s founders having years of prior experience developing and marketing a world wide nutrient company with success in several continents.

“I worked in the frontlines of the nutrient industry for years. However, once I surveyed the California professional growing scene, I was really surprised to see how big a void there was between what growers wanted, and what was actually available to them”

“It was clear to me that things have changed and evolved very quickly in the market, while most of the established nutrient providers and their formulas remain very much the same”.

“The strains most growers are working with now are very nutrient sensitive compared to what may have been popular only years ago. With some of the standard directions and formulas I saw people using with hit and miss success, I started to see the situation like trying to fight on the modern battlefield with muskets and 1800’s battle strategies”

Ash started to discuss the vacuum he observed with a trusted colleagues, Kelly Clenet, Michael Grillo and Graham Farrar and after finding the right biochemist that shared their vision, Elite Nutrients began to emerge.

The newly formed Elite Nutrients didn’t rush to market with an untested carbon copy of standard A&B fertilizers with the usual line up of B-Vitamins and Bloom Boosters as additives like so many others.

Instead, Elite partnered with a 68,000 square feet modern professional growing space to develop their base nutrients and additives to make a simple and easy to use professional level program. A program that has as many parts as you can count on your one hand— and again with absolutely no harmful synthetic PGRs that may be prevalent in other line ups.

No cheap short cuts to success here. Lots of reformulations and experimentation at very large scale were the “secret ingredients” behind why this program has been receiving nothing but rave reviews from early test pilots.

Luckily for the rest of us growing in hydroponics or other mediums, with 4 plants or 4000, Elite Nutrients are set for release to the rest of the growing public, March 14th 2016.

We at Grozine are excited about the release and are fortunate to have been gifted several trial packs of the complete Elite line-up to sample for ourselves. We are especially enthused about the no PGR guarantee. While the reasons for health and environment are most obvious with regards to no Plant Growth Regulators being a good thing, we like the idea that it takes a lot of the pitfalls about reusing soilless mixes out of the equation.

A clean synthetic based nutrient can be effectively leeched from coco, peat, rockwool, etc. for smoother tastes as well as for a low residual nutrient carry over for the next crop. When there are no PGRs to worry about in the growth medium, reusing mixes can be a breeze.—no worries about “shock” periods in the next crop planted.

With only 5 liquid parts making up the whole program we also like the value and ease of use.

The nutrients are also super concentrated, with a single Liter of base nutrient going as far as a Gallon of other brands when comparing mixing rates.

For example, the most of any one of the five parts used PER GALLON is a very slim 10ml (two teaspoons). The average is closer to 4 or 5ml however. Don’t believe us, check this easy to use chart:

Editor’s Note: when mixed as directed, the final concentrations were very appropriate for modern crop feedings—seems as real growers made the chart, not people looking to sell more fertilizer than optimal.

While Grozine is conducting further research via real world testing on a variety of gardens, here is what we know so far:

elite root igniter

Root Igniter

-Avg use, 3ml per Gallon
-Ideal for propagation, early veg; no synthetic required when used as directed, also a great option for aeroponic cloning systems

-State of the art mychorhizal liquid formulation

-Intended to expand root mass by natural processes and immunize plants during the first two weeks of growth

elite nutrients base nutrient A

Base Nutrient A

-Avg use, 5ml per Gallon
-Used with Base Nutrient B in varying amounts to meet the changing needs of the crop from propagation through to maturity

-Rich in Nitrogen and Calcium with a full spectrum of micro nutrients

-Unique chelation reduces issues of insolubility or pH issues with no clogged lines; even under extreme growing conditions like growing outdoors in Southern California where all kinds of funk can occur in an irrigation line left in the sun with residual nutrients from the last irrigation.

elite nutrient base nutrient b

Base Nutrient B

-Avg use, 9ml per Gallon
-Used with Base Nutrient A in varying amounts to meet the changing needs of the crop from propagation through to maturity

-Applied increasingly in Flower while reducing Base Nutrient A to elevate Phosphorous, Potassium and Magnesium while providing Amino Acids in their L-Forms; a proven bud, flower and fruit building combination

-Unique chelation reduces issues of insolubility or pH issues with no clogged lines; even under extreme growing conditions

elite nutrients root tonic C

Root Tonic C

-Avg use, 4ml per Gallon

-Builds stronger plants and helps to keep cells hydrated and promotes healthy fluid regulation in times of high demand by fast growth or stressful environmental conditions
-Naturally occurring co-factors help to promote more lateral growth in early development while creating stronger roots with more mass

-Excellent vitality booster at any stage of growth where crops have endured any stresses; i.e. full and healthy recovery

elite nutrients resin d

Resin D

-Avg use, 8ml per Gallon

-Encourages heavier flowers, buds and fruits at maturity by promoting higher essential oil levels

-Naturally stimulates essential oils to accumulate while regulating the moisture content up top as maturity approaches, i.e. more oils, less water in final harvest.

-Applied increasingly through later flowering until Flush or Harvest
